About UsJennings CollectiveDr. JohnDre Jennings, is the Managing Director of Jennings Development Group an advocacy group within the DMV area. She started her career in housing and community development by working with various community issues as a grassroots community advocate. Throughout her career she has served with various non-profit organizations in the areas of national service, housing, community development, international and local community outreach.
Currently she serves as the Executive Director of Druid Heights Community Development Corporation. In this role Ms. Jennings works with the Druid Heights Team to administer the nonprofit services which include community outreach, housing counseling, real estate development and returning citizens programs. |
Community AdvocateDr. Jennings received her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Morgan State University, Masters in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore, and Doctorate in Urban Educational Leadership from Morgan State University. Dr. Jennings is a Fulbright scholar, AmeriCorps graduate, and a National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) Mentor Program graduate.
Dr. Jennings is also passionate about poetry, community, youth and volunteering. She enjoys writing about single motherhood, culture, women & youth empowerment and international travel. Her research interests include topics on housing & gentrification, women’s rights, international service, youth advocacy and community development. JohnDre and her son, currently reside in Baltimore, MD. |
